Ansible Error

What Operating System?

Ubuntu 18.04
PG 8.7.5

What is the problem?

Every time I launch PG I see the follow error:
Cannot connect to the Docker daemon at unix:///var/run/docker.sock. Is the docker daemon running?
Traceback (most recent call last):
File “/usr/local/bin/ansible-playbook”, line 40, in
from ansible.errors import AnsibleError, AnsibleOptionsError, AnsibleParserError
ImportError: No module named ‘ansible’

As a result it seems that I am unable to access Plex and a number of things fail when re-installing.

What did you already try to solve it?

I have tried running some of the built in troubleshooting steps within PG, cannot see anything within logs.

Complete Logs

The only error I see are these:

Traceback (most recent call last):

from ansible.errors import AnsibleError, AnsibleOptionsError, AnsibleParserError
ImportError: No module named ‘ansible’

Seems that the docker is suddenly not running. The status shows the following:

systemctl status docker

Warning: docker.service changed on disk. Run ‘systemctl daemon-reload’ to reload
● docker.service
Loaded: not-found (Reason: No such file or directory)
Active: inactive (dead)

Have you tried running this command?

After you might need to run

Systemctl start docker

Hey, I did but I was coming up with errors after errors so decided to take a backup and rebuild the server!

Let us know if you still have issues after the rebuild.
